Originally appearing around 2010–2011, the book was never released through traditional publishing houses. Instead, it was self-published and distributed for free in public spaces, such as parks and buses, throughout Guerrero and Michoacán to spread Moreno's messianic ideology. It consists of 13 chapters and an epilogue.

It details Moreno’s childhood poverty in Michoacán, his time as an undocumented immigrant in the U.S., and his eventual rise to power.
